Toowoomba Program Coordinator (LDMP)
The Toowoomba Program Coordinator (LDMP) plays a vital role in supporting the organisation's mission by leading the implementation of You Belong’s Learner Driver Mentor Program.
This paid part-time role (0.2 FTE) requires a passionate individual who is culturally sensitive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion. Please note that while this part-time role is initially for one day/week or equivalent, as the program grows there is potential for an increase in hours and scope of employment.

Assist in the planning, implementation and coordination of LDMP driving sessions, training events, and program activities.
Collaborate with program participants, volunteers, mentors and staff to develop program schedules, lesson availabilities and bookings, vehicle maintainenace, and logistical plans.

Facilitate communication with program participants, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and facilitating Waymakers to engage in Learner Driver lessons.
Support volunteer and mentor recruitment efforts to engage diverse community members and encourage their participation in the LDMP.

Provide administrative support, including maintaining program databases, organising files and preparing program materials.
Assist in the creation of program reports, documentation and evaluations.

Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers and mentor drivers to deliver program activities and LDMP lessons.
Supervise, support and and celebrate volunteers throughout their involvement in the program, ensuring smooth operations.

Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness when interacting with program participants, volunteers and community members.
Ensure that the program is inclusive and accessible to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
As the Managing Director of You Belong Australia, you will lead the You Belong Team (staff & volunteers), empowering them to execute their roles and responsibilities. You will also be directly responsible for the day-to-day business and administrative operations of You Belong, ensuring our everyday functions comply with regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and are in harmony with our organisational mission.
This permanent part-time role (0.6 FTE) requires a passionate individual who is culturally sensitive, and dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion.
